Ren Ellis Neyra-Gentle Reader, the Kardashians are a domestic enterprise of multiracial white supremacy

Professor Ren Ellis Neyra is a poetic theorist working in the fields of Caribbean, African diaspora, and Latinx Studies. Their writing and teaching in these fields prioritize: Poetics; the relationships between Poetry, Music, Film, and Performance; Aesthetics; Contemporary Caribbean Art; Third Cinema; Translation; and Theory. Ellis Neyra’s book, The Cry of the Senses: Listening to Latinx and Caribbean Poetics, is forthcoming with Duke University Press in the fall of 2020.

Ren Ellis Neyra es unx profesorx y teóricx poéticx trabajando en lxs campos de Estudios Latinoamericanxs, del Caribe y de la Diáspora Africana. Su escritura y enseñanza en dichos campos prioriza: La Poética, las relaciones entre Poesía, Música, Cine y Performance; La estética; El Arte Contemporáneo del Caribe; El Tercer Cine; La Traducción; y La Teoría. Su más reciente libro titulado The Cry of the Senses: Listening to Latinx and Caribbean Poetics, será publicado por la editorial de la Universidad de Duke en el otoño de 2020.
